I am getting increasingly annoyed by the confusion of the words who's and whose. It's NOT a hard concept. One is "who is" and the other notes possession. I saw a poll today asking "Whose your favorite singer?". That makes no sense.

Yes, people get those confused almost as often as its and it's.  One thing English does not have in excess is consistency!
