Delcie Light congratulates the gratuates...er, graduates

Graduation is approaching, and some people will be saying or writing congraDulations to the graduates!  Don't they hear or see that the word is congraTulations? This sloppy error in listening, seeing, and speaking drives this retired teacher of English up the chalkboard, fingernails screeching all the way!

We hope that publishing your timely complaint will help many people who will be writing notes of "congratulations" to their graduating friends and family.

Is there something you read or hear that sends you up the wall?

Do tell us.
