New Ask Us Theory About

curmdgeon.GIF (1254 bytes) Curmudgeons' Corner

Guestmudgeon Beverly Flach says

AMC network had either a public announcement ad for cancer research or a pharmaceutical ad that made us laugh. Why can't we tell you what type of ad it was? Because we were too astonished at what we had heard to listen to the rest.

A fairly young lady made this profound statement on camera, "Ten years ago I wouldn't be here today." The camera immediately switched to a spokesperson for whatever research was going on.

What's wrong with that?  Ten years ago she wasn't there today.

Have you seen similar gibberish in a newspaper ad or TV commercial?

Do tell us.
